Various topics are being addressed within the RTR Initiative for the upcoming years to which members can actively contribute.

New members are obliged to sign the Initiative’s memorandum of understanding as well as to confirm the monthly member fee which is annually aligned between all participating companies. All current members jointly decide about the acceptance of new joining members. Generally, RTR is open to welcome all companies related to the European railway industry, mainly operators, buyers, suppliers, sub-suppliers, and public transport authorities who would like to contribute to the Initiative’s further development.
Note: While the RTR members have included certain procedural and substantial provisions into the Initiative’s memorandum of understanding (short: MOU) to ensure full compliance with applicable antitrust laws, they acknowledge that it is ultimately each RTR member’s individual obligation to ensure full compliance of its behavior at all times.
Should a member experience any doubts as to the conformity of the RTR with applicable laws, they shall rise their doubts immediately with their respective legal counsel and may escalate the topic at at any time either directly to the Steering Committee or with the Initiative’s Antitrust Council.
